I recently had to realize that ANY service dog was better than my current situation of NO service dog! YES, I fell head over heels in LOVE with Blizzard who I had the amazing opportunity to meet and work alongside for 2 days, however that didn't mean that I could ONLY have Blizzard as my service dog and never consider another service dog ever again!
Blizzard showed me what my life could look like with a service dog by my side. The independence that I would gain back, the peace that myself and my family and friends would gain, and the stability it would bring to my life to name a few. This is what made me decide that I wanted to continue on this journey of getting a service dog even if it meant loosing Blizzard to someone else!
I set the goal of raising $25,000 and once that money is raised then I will call AZ Goldens and find out what dogs are available at that time that fit that price and go from there. SO, let the fundraising begin!!
You don't know until you try, so I am sure going to try my hardest.
